Estrella Trincado is professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. PhD in Economics and with a degree both in Economics and in Philosophy, she is currently an elected member of the Executive Committee of the ESHET and was a member of the ESHET Council. She received the ESHET History of Economic Analysis Award 2005 and the ESHET Young Scholar of the Year Prize 2011. Estrella Trincado has acted as an organizer of the ESHET Conference 2018. Editor of the Iberian Journal of the History of Economic Thought, she has been elected an advisor for the Spanish Association of Economic History (AEHE). Estrella Trincado has been Visiting Scholar of the Department of Economics at Harvard University (sponsor Stephen Marglin) and visiting staff at the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (Minerva). Her research interests are the history of ideas in developmental economics, the British Enlightenment economic thought, the heterodox economics, the Spanish history of economic thought, energy economics and the economics of uncertainty and time.
